My name is Jerred Smithson, and I’m a Blogger; I live in New York and raise my Guinea Pig here. I’m 37 years old.

I’m originally from Chicago, Illinois. My family moved to New York when I was six years old. I grew up in Queens and attended public schools. After high school, I studied English at the City University of New York (CUNY). I graduated with my Bachelor’s degree not long time ago.

I’ve been blogging for about four years now. I started my blog, “Jerred’s Guinea Pig Blog,” when I got my first guinea pig, Simon. I wanted to share my experiences with others and help people learn more about these fantastic animals.

I currently have two guinea pigs, Simon and Jiminy. Simon is three years old, and Jiminy is two. I love them both very much!

I’m so excited to be a part of the Guinea Pig community! I hope to learn a lot and meet other guinea pig lovers from all over the world. Thanks for reading! 🙂
